Started the gps here and took a picture here of where we had come from (small buildings and carpark down the straight gravel road and to the right)
The ridges to the east towards Villiersdorp and Theewaterskloof.

Perdekop (Franschhoek, Mont Rochelle) 33/44
A lovely sunny winter's day in the mountains. There was a cold front on Thursday/Friday and I thought we might find some snow. The boys turned it down for various reasons so it was only Bridget and I who started walking from Mont Rochelle gate at about 10 am on the Uitkyk trail. Gradient not too challenging, but the path often running with water, so boots a good idea.
